Niagara City Cruises is the official boat tour operator for Niagara Parks and the only boat tour on the Canadian side of the Falls. Many people still search for it by its old name, Hornblower Niagara Cruises. Hornblower took over the Canadian boat tour in 2014, and the service was later rebranded as Niagara City Cruises. The boats, the route and the red ponchos are the same.
Its signature trip is the Voyage to the Falls. This 20-minute boat ride takes you along the base of the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls, then straight into the swirling basin of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. There, the mist, wind and roar surround the boat. Niagara City Cruises calls it the closest you can get to Niagara Falls.
