Niagara Falls is open all year. However, the Hornblower stops running during the winter (November to March). We recommend not to book any tour for Christmas Day because everything is closed at Niagara Falls.

Niagara Falls Cruise by Hornblower Cruise has announced its opening dates for the 2025 season. It will open on May 8th, 2025. The weather and ice conditions determine when the cruise opens each year.

This year’s winter has been severe, resulting in colder temperatures and more snow in March. This has led to the opening of the Hornblower cruise later than expected.

Starting in early May, the Niagara cruise will sail every 30 minutes until late May. After, they will operate every 15 minutes until late October, and return to 30 minutes in November.
